Juniper Moon is the culmination of a remarkable journey, driven by a passion for living richly while honoring our bodies through holistic, non-toxic health and natural beauty.

Founded by Dr. Julie Gatza and Angela Crook—two visionary and pragmatic women—Juniper Moon was born from decades of treating patients and growing frustration with the status quo. In their practice, they recognized that many patients' health issues stemmed from harmful, toxic products in their food, homes, and body care.

Often, the answer was to recommend removing these risky products. However, in many cases, suitable alternatives were not readily available. This inspired them to begin formulating drug-free solutions for safe and effective ways to help their patients. 

As they began to make their own creams, tonics cleaners etc. to help clinic patients, they realized why even the most exclusive companies don’t use the best ingredients:

To truly provide their patients with the most effective remedies, they often needed precious and expensive ingredients that were difficult to work with and perishable. But they stayed committed to high performing but non-toxic products regardless of the difficulties. 

Over the next decade, the line-up of formulations increased as the years went by. But one product, the clinic’s Body Butter, became so sought after that the women began working out how to make enough for everyone who wanted it. Overcoming the barriers of this highly concentrated cream required inventive small-batch formulations and creative approaches to storage and shipping.

The response to the moisturizer has been overwhelming, but Dr. Julie and Angela remain committed to helping customers live well while staying well.
